Meet the WAHCA Board


Washington Home Care Association’s (WAHCA) Board members are from across the Washington Home Care industry.


Jeff Wiberg

HCAOA National Liaison
Blooming with the Boomers Conference Committee

Jeff enjoys putting on an event to put on an event that creates a space where home care agencies can collaborate to raise the bar of home care across Washington.

    Position: Chief Executive Officer

    Jeff is CEO of Family Resource Home Care with 8 locations across WA and ID. He serves on the National Board for the Home Care Association of America and has served for over 5 years on the WAHCA Board. He loves spending time with family, gourmet cooking, playing the piano, and watching movies. Jeff lives in Spokane with his wife and 5 children.


    Shawn D’Amelio

    WAHCA President
    Blooming with the Boomers Conference Committee

    On the WAHCA team since 2014, Shawn’s passion for education has flourished providing education and resources for all home care companies. It has been an amazing opportunity to express her creativity, make lifelong friends and fulfill a personal mission to ultimately provide better care for seniors across the state of Washington.

      Shawn enjoys the process of bringing resources and people together, creating relationships that give peace of mind to families and their loved ones. She loves gardening, art, cooking, camping, driving her CJ7 Jeep with the top off, riding horses and quality time with friends and family. Recently leaving With a Little Help after celebrating her 13th anniversary as Director of Business Development Shawn is taking a little time off to be with her family.


      Andy Niska

      Vice President & Treasurer

      This is Andy’s first year serving on the WAHCA board. He has served o the Blooming Conference the past 2 years. Andy’s passion for the senior population is apparent through his involvement in many community non-profit causes.

        After an extensive career in health care administration and health care sales, Andy has found great fulfillment in leading a caring and compassionate team to serve the needs of our aging population. 


        Kelda FairLeigh

        2020 Blooming with the Boomers Conference Chair

        This is Kelda’s first year taking on Blooming with the Boomers in 2020 and she is doing a magnificent job. She has secured a new venue in SeaTac and hosting our first ever Farm to Table Dinner on May 13th, 2020.

          Kelda brings over 16 years of experience in sales and operations to her role with Home Care Assistance. Coming from the hospitality industry, her customer service skill set is incredibly important to her. She prides herself on being able to listen to and empathize with clients and her team, as well as help them identify solutions to their issues. Helping people is what she loves and she feels best when she is able to help clients and team members each day.


          Sharla Bode

          WAHCA Westside Legislative
          Chair Blooming with the Boomers Conference Committee

          Sharla works closely with our lobbyist Leslie Emerick here in Washington and is our representative on the HCAOA National legislative calls. Sharla’s location to Olympia is prime and she will be able to testify on WAHCA’s behalf when Leslie needs her to.

            Position: VP Clinical Operations/Co-Owner

            Sharla has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years with experience caring for critically ill patients in various ICU’s, along with multiple years as Nursing Manager, and in Risk management. She continues to enjoy visiting with her client’s in their homes and is also a second-generation owner with Advanced Health Care.


            Tim Cooke

            As a first-year board member Tim is responsible for taking it all in! He will be learning and contributing as much as possible this year. As a born networker, Tim will be a contact point for prospective WAHCA members to understand the value of membership.

              Agape IHC was founded when Tim Cooke and Pastor Ruhumuriza met and shared their passion for serving vulnerable communities. We are partnering with Clients and Caregivers to achieve what God has called them to in their life no matter how old they are or how recently they’ve come to America.


              Kevin Lambing

              Westside Membership Chair
              Social Media Chair

              Kevin is with Visiting Angels in the greater Seattle area and super excited to be a member of the WAHCA team now in his second year.

                Position: VP of Marketing

                Kevin has worked in the caregiving realm for 20 years doing education, marketing and homecare consulting across the US and loves sharing his passion of homecare and social media marketing tips with our members.  Kevin is also a chef and enjoys creating new dishes and showing family caregivers quick recipes they can try at home.
