Public Policy Committee
The Washington Home Care Association (WAHCA) Board is forming a Public Policy Committee
The committee is open to interested members who want to be part of the policy development on home care related issues in Washington state and on the federal level.
The WAHCA Public Policy Committee will review the monthly public policy report prepared by Leslie Emerick, our lobbyist, that provides updates on legislative and state agency issues. They will help discuss and develop public policy positions to make recommendations to the WAHCA Board for consideration.
There is a wide range of topics impacting the home care industry that the association is currently working on with state agencies and even more during the legislative session. The committee will meet once a month via Zoom prior to a board meeting. The time commitment would be an hour a month.
You must be a member of WAHCA to participate on this committee. If you wish to be considered for a position on this committee please respond by completing the form below. Name, Headshot, bio, and website will be used on the WAHCA website Public Policy Page should you be chosen. We look forward to hearing from you.
